Picturing Gratitude is a memoir, reminding me that after everything that I have experienced over the past 72 years, I am still grateful to be here, not only inspite of it all, but becasue of it all! My life story is rich in experiences and memories. Too many to write down!
Picturing Gratitude brings forth a glimps of the various states of mind over the many years I have been in since college up until present day. (You only have my paintings and poety to read me from here back through until the mid 1970's (since those eras are the only ones in this book) However, I have been a painter since I can remember in my crib.
You can read some of me through the brushstrokes. See, the state of being is not in words and cannot be hidden with a brush. But words can tell stories, even if they are made up! There is no lying in art.
I am a member of the LSCFTA (Lake Shore Center for the Arts) writing group in Westfiled NY and am learning to write more books, with the help of my beloved writing group members. I am currently writing a life story and a fantasy, along with a little bit of poetry and I am so grateful for this group.
